Ranchi: Election Commission's "Paint My City" initiative that utilises public art, aims to enhance voter awareness. The programme employs street art and paintings to communicate essential messages about voting rights and democratic participation.
The artwork, featuring compelling slogans, impactful visuals and regional cultural references, has been displayed near the deputy development commissioner's office and various other sites across the city.
Election commissioner K Ravi Kumar told TOI, "This initiative not only serves as a way to educate citizens about their voting rights but also aims to foster community pride."
