But the happy family was rocked by the news of Kyle's affair with , when it turned out he was the father of her son Kairo. Annie and Kyle decided to work through it, tying the knot in a Cheshire ceremony in November 2021. Following reports of a meeting with divorce lawyers to discuss their marriage ending, Annie has been spotted enjoying time with her friends, with her wedding ring still on. Although no final decision has currently been made about Kyle and Annie's marriage, a source claims she is open to splitting, while Kyle is committed to winning her back. They told : "Annie is prepared to go through with it. She isn’t messing about and has spoken to lawyers about what the future looks like,” the insider explained. They added that divorce has been an “ever-present threat” hanging over the couple since news of Kyle’s second lovechild broke, “but things are starting to come to a head”.

A source told : "Annie married Kyle for love, but she also knew in her heart of hearts she had to do it to secure a financial windfall for herself and their children.

"People may assume she is a doormat, but Annie is clever and she was aware that she’d need to marry Kyle to have access to his money. When she first dumped Kyle in 2019, Annie sought advice from her married Wag friends about her options and what she should do."
