Arsenal's legendary manager Arsene Wenger has taken a cheeky, subtle dig at Tottenham Hotspur's trophy record during a debate over whether Kai Havertz or Harry Kane is the better centre-forward.
and are enjoying good seasons, for their respective clubs, with the forward bagging six goals in 12 appearances so far this season while the former talisman had 13 goals in just ten appearances for Bayern Munich prior to their mouth-watering showdown with Barcelona in the .
Although the two players' style's are like chalk and cheese, Wenger was asked, on beIN Sports, whether he would prefer to have a Havertz or Kane in his starting line-up. Explaining his answer, said: "Well... That depends on the way you want to defend and the way you want to play.
"Havertz is more a contributor to the all-round game.
"Defensively, he works very hard, offensively, he scores less goals than Kane - and will never score the number of goals Kane scores. He's more a number ten-and-a-half or nine-and-a-half, while Kane he's a centre-forward so you have to organise a team around Kane."

Host Richard Keys made the point that Kane and have more than 800 goals between them, but only one major trophy to their names, to which cheekily responded: "Well that means he has played for a team for a long time that didn't win and they have not won since he has left!"
It's well-documented that Spurs have gone a long time without winning a major trophy. The last time Tottenham won major silverware was during the 2007/08 season when they lifted the League Cup.
