"Yeah, it's not a problem. I've said since we started: I'm very happy with the squad, very happy with the players we are using. Since we started, we have tried to share the minutes with all of the competition. We have two suspended players and we are going to find different players that can play."

Will Reece James be in the squad on Sunday?

"He is finally available. He worked with us over the international break. It's good news, especially for him because being injured is not a good feeling. Finally, he is back."

What are you doing to ensure this doesn't happen again to Reece?

"It's complicated when you get injury, injury, injury again. It's not easy so you are always looking for a solution. Probably the solution with Reece is the same solution we are using with Romeo [Lavia] and Wes [Fofana] in terms of using them just once a week, in one game, because probably in this moment, for different reasons, Reece's body cannot play twice a week. One of the solutions is probably to try and manage him in the same way we are doing with Wes and Romeo."

How much are you relishing this tough run of fixtures?

"I think it is a special game for all the clubs. Liverpool is a nice environment, fantastic, and we are excited to play this kind of game. But at the same time, all of the games we have played until now, not one of them has been easy.

"All the Premier League games are difficult, they are not easy. We are going to try our best, prepare the game in the best way we can and try to get points."

Your reaction to Thomas Tuchel's appointment as England head coach? Do you think he is a good fit?

"I just say: All the best to Thomas and nothing more. I think if people in charge decide for him, I think it is because they are convinced. I am not the one to judge if he is right or wrong. All the best to him, his staff, and no more than that."

Has he been in touch to take some of your staff away?

"I know that one of them has been approached; one of the analysts. We are quite open for people to leave and take their chances in case they wanted to take it. The other one, Hilario, I heard something but there has not been any approach yet.

"This is the only thing I know. We are open-minded in terms of allowing people to take chances and also we are happy to keep people who want to stay and if they want to go, they can go."

What have you done to help improve Moises Caicedo?

"I don't know. That's more a question for him. I really believe to improve as a team, you need to improve the players. We are trying to, not only with Moi but all the players, to dedicate time for them, spend time with them, for extra work almost every day. At the end of the session, we keep players for extra work and Moi is one of the players.

"We are happy with the way he is playing. We didn't have any doubts about him as a player or a person and we are very happy with him at the moment."

Have you ever come across a player like Jadon Sancho in terms of the excitement levels he brings?

"Jadon is doing well. The only thing he has to do is continue in the same way; work hard every day and as I said many times, for sure he is going to help us because we really believe he is a special player but the only way to confirm that is to work every day hard and to never be happy, always be ambitious and want more and more."

Were you surprised at how well Arne Slot has started at Liverpool?

"They are doing fantastic. Very good players, very good manager, very good club - I think they are doing a fantastic job. It's already many years that Liverpool are there. They are continuing to do that and that is something very, very important for them."

You mentioned Reece James will only play one game per week, is that for the foreseeable future?

"In this moment, this can be the solution. In the future, I don't know. But if we want to build something with him in terms of physical condition, then probably the solution is to allow him to go slowly and use him once a week and then hopefully in the future we can use him more during the week. In this moment, we need to think to use him once a week."

Will it be a difficult decision with Malo Gusto playing well?

"It's difficult but at the same time it's nice because you know that one of them, the one I choose, is going to do well. This is a good feeling."

Will Ben Chilwell be in the squad on Sunday?

"Chilly is one of our players. Unfortunately, the previous three or four days, apart from yesterday, he was ill so he didn't get any sessions. We will see how he is today and tomorrow."

Is it a good chance to gauge where you are against Liverpool on Sunday?

"We are going to approach the game not thinking where we are, we are going to approach trying to prepare the game in the best way. But it's not this game that is going to define where we are.

"If we win, then we solve the problem, if we lose, then it's just a process, just a game. We will try our best to prepare for the game."

Would you rather this game come at another time?

"No. For them, it's more or less the same. The only difference is they play at home. We try to adapt to the fixture."

How would you assess your start to life as Chelsea manager?

"Very happy because what I expected in terms of players, level and style, I can see clearly that is there. I said already many times: no matter who plays, you can see clear the way we want to play. For sure, there are games we can do better but in this moment, it is normal because we just started two or three months ago.

"The club is one of the best clubs in the world and I am very excited and very lucky to share my time with this squad. I am very happy."

Tough run of fixtures coming up...

"I don't think Sunday's game defines where we are. I think in this moment we have to be focused on things we want to improve, that is the most important thing. The first game is Liverpool and then we have two or three more games.

"I don't have the feeling that Nottingham was an easy game, or Brighton was an easy game, or West Ham away or Bournemouth away. The Premier League is probably the best league in the world and it is the toughest league in the world, so every game is difficult and it will be exactly the same in the next three or four, or in the next 25 games we have."

Cole Palmer was used in a different role for England. Would you consider using him in a different role?

"I can say the way we use Cole, and the different manager uses Cole is probably because he saw something. But in the way we are using Cole, I think it is quite clear."

Malo Gusto's role has changed this season. How do you think he is doing?

"Fantastic. Very happy. He's giving us many things. He's helping the process in the way we want to play a lot. We are happy with him, we are happy with Renato [Veiga] and the times he has to play inside.

"For sure Malo is doing very, very well. For the age he is at and how much risk in terms of player, it is top."

When Reece James is fit and available, will he be able to fit in the same role?

"First of all, he has to be fit and then slowly we will see. The most important thing for Reece is he is finally fit and then we will see how we will use him. We have many players that are versatile and can play in different positions."
