ITV Big Brother fans spot 'cut' scene leaving viewers distracted

During Monday's episode of Big Brother, fans were left distracted while one sharp-eyed viewer spotted a segment that had been snipped from the show's live feed.

The beloved reality series made a comeback with a fresh season after Sunday night's live kick-off.

A new collection of housemates has bunkered down in Britain's most famous residency for a six-week rollercoaster of turmoil and trials.

Right out of the gate, the participants were cleaved into two factions, with one unlucky bunch labelled non-housemates and shunted into a storage area.

But it was Big Brother's distinctive voice that stole the audience's attention, sparking a wave of speculation about his health.

One particularly observant fan managed to identify a specific instance omitted from the live stream on ITVX, reports .

They also noted that amid the post-launch antics, the housemates' boisterous energy didn't help matters.

The concerned viewer aired their worries on X, the platform formerly known as , saying: "What it's not showing was how bad Big Brother's voice was during this part on the live stream, they also cut out how he kept telling the housemates in storage to be quiet." (sic)

Another fretted over the iconic voice's condition, querying: "Does the voice need a throat sweet?" (sic)

And there was no pleasing everyone, as one disgruntled fan clamoured for the return of the original voice, grumbling: "Don't like Big Brother's new voice at all like it's jarring bring back the northern one." (sic)

Big Brother made a comeback with a fresh series on Sunday night, introducing a group of new occupants to Britain's most renowned house.

The live programme, presented by and , witnessed 16 new personalities making their grand appearances before being secluded from the outside for months.

Big Brother airs at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX followed by Big Brother: Late & Live at 10pm.
