ITV's Big Brother sparks uproar amongst fans as they announce eviction twist

Send Push

Big Brother viewers have been left flabbergasted after it was revealed that there will be a backdoor eviction tonight.

On Tuesday's show (October 29) the remaining housemates got stuck into Big Brother's twisted Halloween games. As things became tense, the contestants later discovered that Emma had been picked at random to become this week's head of the house.

Insisting that she didn't want to become the head of the infamous complex, Emma was later whisked off to the Diary Room where she was told by that she must put four of her fellow housemates up for eviction. Struggling to make a decision, an immune Emma later made her way to a secret room where she decided to nominate Khaled, Martha, Thomas and Ali.

But as the show came to a close, viewers discovered that it would be a backdoor eviction and the housemate who has received the fewest votes would leave the show relatively soon. After discovering Big Brother's twisted game, shocked viewers headed straight over to X to share their thoughts on the unexpected ordeal.

Meanwhile, others also pointed out how they thought was the least or more derserving to go through the backdoor without facing the usual Friday night crowd. One viewer said: "Love her or hate her, Martha is too interesting of a housemate to have a backdoor eviction. Like don’t you guys wanna see how she’d deal being up for nomination for a whole week & see how the crowd responds to her & an exit interview?!!"

Another said: "Backdoor evictions are unfair to the housemate and the viewers." Another fumed: "Shame @bbuk are yet again failing us and doing a pre-recorded backdoor eviction. It’s just garbage. They have a presenter, an audience, a studio, all right there! EVICT THEM LIVE FFS!"

A fourth shared: "God, would probably most hate a backdoor eviction. Shame.Don't waste your vote on Thomas when we won't see him all week anyhow."

Meanwhile another added: "Having to live in that house for three weeks and getting a backdoor eviction would be my villain origin story."

Since Big Brother launched earlier this month, this will be the first time a housemate will leave through the back door in this series.

Big Brother airs Sundays-Thursdays AT 9pm on ITV1.
