Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps could be set for a huge comeback.
Will Mellor and Ralf Little starred as Gaz Wilkinson and Jonny Keogh in the hit TV show, which also starred the likes of Sheridan Smith as Janet, Natalie Casey and Donna Wilkinson and Kathryn Drysdale as Louise Brooks.
Fans have been hoping for a return for the show after Will and Ralf's successful Two Pints podcast, with Will revealing he would be very keen to revisit the show and its successes at some point.
Speaking to he revealed: "That was the reason why I made the podcast, Two Pints with Will & Ralf. In lockdown, the amount of people that were saying, 'We're watching reruns of Two Pints, the good old days.'
"People are begging us to really bring it back, and I would always be up for going back there and revisiting it, whether it be a documentary or a one-off special, because it was a massive part of my life and people loved it."
Will even revealed that there was a 'lost' episode that was written by Susan Nickson, but wasn't wanted by the BBC.
"Nostalgia is a big thing, people grew up with that show, and we did have a script called Two Pints, Last Orders," he shared, "Susan Nickson, the original creator, wrote it, and the said they didn't want to revisit it. So there is a massive hunger for it."
Will also previously revealed to The exactly what would have happened in a revival episode.
"They were bringing Jonny back from the dead - cause he obviously apparently died in it, but then we find out he's not dead, he'd actually been in hiding, and we find out why," he said.
"We offered it to the BBC - they said no. BBC Three didn't want it. So we just sort of left it. And it's funny now, how reviving shows ... I don't understand why they weren't interested but they didn't wanna revisit it and BBC Three I think could have really done with it, to be honest, I think their audiences have not been great. Two Pints is probably still the highest rated show on the channel now, and it's all the reruns, I'm sure they would have liked to have seen a revised 'where are they now?' kind of series."
