UPSC EPFO 2025 Vacancy: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released a short notification for recruitment to the posts of Enforcement Officer/Accounting Officer (EO/AO) and Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC) under the Employees' Provident Fund Organization (EPFO). A total of 230 vacancies will be filled under this recruitment drive. Out of these, 156 posts are reserved for EO/AO and 74 posts for APFC.

The full notification of this recruitment will be published by UPSC on the official website on 26 July 2025. Interested candidates will be able to apply online between 29 July 2025 and 18 August 2025. Applications will be accepted only through the official website of UPSC upsc.gov.in.

Pay scale and level as per post.
As per the notification issued, candidates for the post of Enforcement Officer/Accounting Officer (EO/AO) will be given a salary as per Pay Matrix Level-08, which is prescribed under the Seventh Central Pay Commission. At the same time, Pay Matrix Level-10 has been fixed for the post of Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC), which is a relatively higher level pay scale and reflects the seniority of the post.
Category-wise maximum age limit
The maximum age limit for the EO/AO post has been fixed at 30 years for the General and EWS category, 33 years for OBC, 35 years for SC/ST, and 40 years for PwBD (Divyang) category.
The salary for the post of Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC) will be as per Level-10 (7th Pay Commission). The age limit for this post has been fixed at 35 years for the General/EWS category, 38 years for the OBC, 40 years for SC, and a maximum 45 years for PwBD candidates.
