The Bihar Health Department has issued a recruitment for more than 200 Ophthalmic Assistant posts, for which applications have started. Candidates can apply by visiting the official site.
The Health Department of Bihar has issued a recruitment notification for more than 200 posts of Ophthalmic Assistants to further strengthen services related to eye care.
The application process for this recruitment has started. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website shs.bihar.gov.in. This opportunity is especially for those youth who want to make their career in the health sector.
For this post, the candidate must have completed Intermediate (Biology or Maths) with Science subject. Along with this, there should be a two-year diploma in Optometry or as per the guidelines of NPCB, two years training should be taken as Ophthalmic Assistant in a recognized government hospital. Apart from this, candidates having a two-year degree in Ophthalmic Assistant with Intermediate from any government, private or semi-government institution recognized by the Government of Bihar can also apply.
Under this recruitment campaign, the selected candidates will get an honorarium of Rs 15,000 per month.
According to the age limit, the minimum age of the applicant should be 21 years and maximum 42 years. Candidates of reserved category will be given age relaxation as per the rules of the government.
Talking about the application fee, the fee for General, BC and EWS category candidates has been kept at Rs 500, while SC, ST, Women and Divyang candidates will have to pay only Rs 125. The fee has to be paid online.
To apply, the candidate has to go to the official website and click on the "Apply Online" link. After this, complete the registration by doing "New Registration" and then fill the form by logging in through registration ID and password. After uploading all the necessary documents and paying the application fee, submit the form and keep a printout of it for future.
