Preparations for large-scale recruitment have started in the Revenue Department of Uttar Pradesh. After the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to fill the vacant posts, the Revenue Department has prepared a proposal for recruitment to 7994 posts of Lekhpal, 1756 posts of Junior Assistant, and 300 posts of Tehsildar. This proposal has been sent to the concerned recruitment commissions, after which the recruitment process is expected to start soon.
According to Revenue Department officials, direct recruitment will be done to the posts of Lekhpal and Junior Assistant, while 300 posts of Tehsildar will be filled through promotion. The purpose of these recruitments is to make the functioning more smooth by filling the vacant posts in the Revenue Department. The recruitment of Lekhpals will speed up revenue-related work in rural areas, such as land records and tax collection, while the posts of Junior Assistant will speed up administrative work.

This recruitment will not only provide employment opportunities to unemployed youth but will also improve the efficiency of the Revenue Department. Know what will be the qualification.
The Lekhpal recruitment exam will be conducted by the UP Subordinate Services Selection Board, for this the educational qualification required is a 12th pass. Let us tell you that according to the 7th pay scale in the state, the salary of a Lekhpal can be between 15000 to 60000. Which also includes a grade pay of Rs 2000.
