Bengaluru Metro services on purple line restored after brief disruption

Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], October 16 (ANI): Bengaluru Metro's Purple Line services were briefly disrupted on Wednesday morning after a tree fell on the tracks.
The tree was removed and metro services were restored from 8.05 am, as per Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited.


"Purple line update : The tree obstruction for train movement is cleared and train services on complete purple line restored from 8.05 am," Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) said on X.


"From 6.15 am today trains are running only between Indranagar -Challaghatta and Baiyappanahalli to White field on Purple line due a tree obstructing operations between SV Road and Indranagar. FKI . Inconvenience regretted," BMRCL said on X. (ANI)
