Shillong (Meghalaya) [India], November 1 (ANI): The Border Security Force (BSF) Meghalaya Frontier troops celebrated Diwali on October 31.
ID Singh, DIG (PSO) of Frontier BSF Meghalaya, along with Sector DIGs and Commandants of various units, celebrated the festival with BSF troops deployed at the international border
The event highlighted the steadfast dedication and sacrifices of BSF personnel, who remain on duty during the festive season to ensure the safety and security of the nation, the BSF Meghalaya said in a release.
BSF commanders spent time with the troops conveying them heartfelt Diwali greetings and appreciating their unwavering commitment to their mission. They extended warm wishes for peace, prosperity and strength, acknowledging the unique challenges faced by border personnel who vigilantly guard the nation, day and night.
