The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) today declared the results of Class 10 Madhyamik board exam.
Students who appeared for the annual state board examination will be able to access their results on the official websites — wbbse.wb.gov.in and wbresults.nic.in.
As per reports, 86.56% students have cleared the exam.
How to Download Results
To download the scorecard, students must enter their roll number, as mentioned on the admit card, and their date of birth. The marksheet published online will be provisional in nature. Students are advised to collect their original marksheets from their respective schools once they are issued by the board.
Higher participation by girls this year
This year’s Madhyamik examination saw an encouraging rise in female participation. Out of the total 9,84,753 registered candidates, 5,55,950 were girls — outnumbering their male counterparts. This continues a recent trend of growing female representation in West Bengal's school-level board exams.
The written exams were held from February 10 to February 22, 2025. Additional assessments, including those for Physical Education, Social Service, and Work Education, were conducted between March 19 and April 2.
All examinations were conducted in a single shift beginning at 10:45 am, with the first 15 minutes allotted for reading the question paper.
Supplementary exam schedule to be announced later
Students who do not clear one or more subjects will have the opportunity to appear for supplementary exams. The WBBSE has not yet announced the date or schedule for these exams, but further information is expected in the coming weeks.
Candidates are encouraged to check the result portals only after the official declaration time and to ensure they use accurate credentials to avoid login issues. Schools will notify students once original marksheets are available for collection.
