In a bold and unconventional promotional move, Yash Raj Films is flipping the script for War 2—the much-anticipated showdown between Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR. While fans are counting down to see the two powerhouses collide on screen, they won’t be spotting them side by side off it. Why? Because YRF wants the conflict to hit first—raw, explosive, and unfiltered—before any camaraderie makes its way to screens.

YRF has decided to keep Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR apart during all pre-release promotions, ensuring they are never seen together on stage, in interviews, or in any joint video. The studio believes that revealing their onscreen rivalry only in theatres will heighten the emotional and cinematic payoff. Citing a senior trade source, IANS revealed that there will be a bloody carnage on screen, and the audience deserves to experience that intense conflict before seeing them off-screen together. Hence, this once-in-a-lifetime cinematic moment should unfold only in cinemas.

New posters for War 2
With more than a month to go before release, YRF unveiled intense new posters of the two stars, revealing their deadly avatars. Hrithik Roshan shared his look, bruised and wielding a weapon, with the caption: “This time he’s ruthless, merciless, relentless and ready for WAR! Are you? The countdown begins now.”



Meanwhile, Jr NTR dropped his own action-packed poster where he’s seen firing bullets with fierce intensity, captioned: “Bet you haven’t ever seen a WAR like this! Let’s count it down #50DaysToWar2 .... Releasing in Telugu, Hindi & Tamil on August 14th in cinemas worldwide!”
