India will assist Ghana set up a vaccine hub that will serve the whole of West Africa. This could be announced during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit on Wednesday and Thursday.
Secretary-economic relations in MEA Dammu Ravi said during a media briefing here on Monday: "There will be agriculture, where the Ghanaian leader, the president, is keen to engage with India. He is also keen on vaccine development, creating a vaccine hub in Ghana, for not just Ghana but also the West Africa context. Defence cooperation will become an important item on the agenda and the critical minerals and the digital public infrastructure."
