Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Tuesday discussed India’s remarkable economic growth, positioning the country as a global leader amid rising geopolitical challenges.
Speaking at AIMA's 10th National Leadership Conclave, Scindia pondered over the widely asked question of 'when will India rise,' positioning the nation as a key player amidst global volatility and shifting geopolitical dynamics.
Drawing an analogy to the movie RRR, he described India's "Real, Rapid and Resolute," marking the country’s transformation from a fragile economy to the world’s fifth-largest.
Over the past decade, India’s economic growth has been impressive, with a decadal GDP growth close to 8%, the minister said.
Scindia highlighted that while India has the scale and potential to lead globally, it must first "cement its role" as a pivotal power.
He also talked about the importance of this transition for India to secure its future as a dominant force on the world stage.
