Do You Wanna Partner Review: Even acting could not add color to the dull story..

A brilliant business idea, the struggle to launch a brand, misunderstandings in relationships, and competition in the market, if a cocktail is made by mixing all these, then 'Do You Wanna Partner' will be ready. In this series of a total of 8 episodes, Tamannaah Bhatia and Diana Penty are playing the role of two ambitious girls who want to achieve something in life. Whenever there is a big star cast in a series or film, the expectations increase a lot. Actors like Javed Jaffrey, Shweta Tiwari, Rannvijay Singh, and Nakul Mehta are also seen in this series. Now, how much it was able to impress and how much not, it will be known later, but this series definitely teaches that business should never come between friendship. Story
The story of the series begins with Shikha Roy Choudhary (Tamannaah Bhatia) losing her job when her company is taken over by another company. After this, she gets fed up with her corporate job and finally starts thinking about fulfilling her dream, which her father once used to see - the dream of making her own beer. However, she neither has money nor the consent of her best friend Anahita (Diana Penty). Anahita is also doing well in her job, but she gets a shock when she does not get her due in her company. That means instead of getting a promotion, a man gets all the credit. After this, both Anahita and Shikha together make a complete plan to turn Shikha's idea into a business. Beer maker Bobby Bagga (Nakul Mehta) is found, but no one agrees on where the beer will be made, i.e., the plant. No one wants to bet on two girls who have set out to do business.

But then luck favors her, and suddenly Anahita's voice becomes heavy due to a sore throat. It is a very strange thing, but on hearing her heavy voice on the phone, people consider her a man and are ready to do business with her. However, the biggest problem still has to be overcome, and that is money. In such a situation, Bobby introduces both of them to Laila Singh (Shweta Tiwari), who is very close to a gangster and gives them a loan of 2 crores. After overcoming all these difficulties, both of them finally launched their beer successfully due to good marketing. This is where the real battle begins. Walia, who has built his company worth crores in the market by stealing Shikha's father's beer formula years ago, is ready to use every trick to stop his friend's daughter's business this time too. Then how will both of their companies be able to survive in the market? Will everyone's relationships get so entangled that the company will not be able to survive? Direction
The series is directed by Archit Kumar and Colin D'Cunha. It is produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Entertainment. If we talk about the direction of the series, then it can be quite disappointing because the background of the series is based on an emotional story where a friend stabs another friend in the back, but it has not been shown with that much seriousness. To give the series a tadka of comedy, its main flavor, i.e., emotions, has been left far behind. When you watch a story where children are moving forward in their lives by learning from the mistakes of their parents, then a connection of emotion, which should be felt, seems to be missing in this series. The series could have been much better in the departments of direction and screenplay.

Acting
Talking about the acting of the actors in the series, Tamannaah Bhatia and Diana Penty have tried to do justice to their characters to a great extent, but despite this, due to the dull story and screenplay, there is no special strength in the acting as well. It seems as if Ranvijay's character 'Kabir' has been forcibly inserted in the middle. That character does not seem to have any special contribution to the story of the series. It seems as if the characters do not have anything special to do. The series seems quite predictable in many places. However, if the emotions were shown in a better way and not just as a joke, then the actors could have made the series a little better with their acting.

Disadvantages
If you watch this series, the first few episodes may seem quite boring. In the end, when interest starts building up, you come to know that the series is about to end. No song in the series can please the mind. In between, songs from other films have been used a little bit, but that, too, is not that effective. Apart from this, many such things are seen that are not understandable. Like a person who has amnesia, but when his main work comes, he does not forget anything. Apart from this, Shikha shares even the smallest things with her best friend, but she does not tell such a big thing about business, and she doesn't know why.

Watch or not?
If you want to watch a light series that does not require much thinking or if you are interested in business, then you can definitely watch it. If you are feeling bored, then this can be a good option for you, but yes, after watching it, some people may feel that feeling bored without watching anything is a better option.
