To reach Kalga, Manikaran is 25 km from the airport, where buses or taxis are easily available. Kalga village is 10 km from Manikaran, from where the track starts. Apart from this, you can reach Kullu district and from here reach Bhuntar by road.
Spiti Valley
Spiti Valley is one of the coldest hill stations in Himachal Pradesh. It is very cold here in winter, but even in summer, the temperature here is as biting cold as in winter. If you want to travel to Spiti Valley by train, then the nearest railway station is Joginder Nagar station which is 169 km away. From here you can reach your destination by taxi or local bus. You can also travel by toy train from Pathankot to Joginder Nagar.
Tawang
Tawang of Arunachal Pradesh is a center of attraction among tourists for its cold weather and beautiful monasteries. The average maximum temperature here this month can be 14 degrees and the minimum is 2 degrees Celsius. India's largest and the world's second-largest monastery is also located in Tawang. Tawang can be visited to spend a relaxing holiday amidst natural views and pleasant weather.

There is no direct flight to Tawang. Tezpur Airport is about 387 km from Tawang. The distance from Guwahati to Tawang is 450 km, however, due to the hilly route, it may take more than a day by road.

Zero Point
Zero Point is located in the Yumthang Valley of Sikkim. Here one can see a unique view of the snow-capped mountains. This place is a favorite for snow lovers. Here one can see panoramic views of the vast range of the Himalayas, including Kanchenjunga. The temperature here remains at minus.

Take a train or flight to Gangtok and travel to Yumthang. Yumthang Valley is about 140 km from Gangtok. Zero Point can be reached in an hour's drive by travelling about 13 km from Yumthang.
