Neemuch (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Mohan Yadav received a warm welcome upon his arrival at the Neemuch airstrip on Wednesday. He was greeted by Women and Child Development Minister Nirmala Bhuria, Lok Sabha MP Sudhir Gupta, Jawad MLA Omprakash Sakhlecha, Neemuch MLA Dilip Singh Parihar and Manasa MLA Aniruddh Maru, among other public representatives. They presented him with bouquets of flowers on behalf of the administration.
As soon as he landed, CM Yadav was welcomed by ADGP Ujjain Umesh Joga, collector Himanshu Chandra, DIG Ratlam Manoj Kumar Singh and SP Ankit Jaiswal. After the warm reception, he departed for Mandsaur by car.
In Mandsaur, CM Yadav participated in the Virat Maha Somayagya, a significant religious ceremony, where he sat on the havan altar. He received blessings from Padma Bhushan Dr Gokulotsavji Maharajshree and Somayagya Samrat Dr Vrajotsav Maharaj.
The ceremony included Vedic chanting and offerings made by various community members, including those from the Sindhi, Agrawal and Brahmin societies.
After the hawan, CM Yadav bowed to the Maharajshree, who blessed him and draped a shawl over his shoulders. The event was attended by several dignitaries, including former Home Minister Kailash Chawla.
