Berasia (Madhya Pradesh): The government has given the English medium status to some primary and middle schools in Berasia, but it forgets to send the required books, sources said.
As a result, the books are not available to the students, though the academic session for 2025-26 has begun from April. The government has given English medium status to some schools on the pattern of some private institutions.
The purpose is to include the students who could not take admission to private schools under the right to education. The government provides the books, but the students are not getting the English books.
When the issue was raised before the block resource coordinator Balendra Singh, he said he had written to the education department.

The person in charge of books in the BRC office said the demand had been sent from the Berasia block, but it did not reach the state education centre, according to the person concerned.
Goyal further said when he had discussed the issue with the Textbook Corporation for buying books, they said they did not receive any demand for English medium books from the Berasia block.
