Bangalore News: A case of brutal murder of a woman has come to light in Bangalore, in which cruelty similar to the Chhattarpur murder case of Delhi has been seen. Here the accused killed the woman and cut her body into several pieces and hid them in the fridge. This heart-wrenching incident is from Vayalikaval police station area of Bangalore, where 26-year-old Mahalakshmi, living on the first floor of a three-storey building on Veeranna Road, was murdered. This incident came to light when a foul smell started coming from the house and the neighbors informed the police about it.

How was the murder revealed?

The matter came to light when a strong stench started emanating from the house on Veeranna Road. When the neighbours informed the police about the stench, the police immediately reached the spot. When the door was broken and entry was made, the police found the woman's body cut into pieces inside the fridge. According to the police, the woman was murdered about 4-5 days ago. The killer probably kept the body in the fridge to give him time to escape.

Initial police investigation and suspicion

Initial investigation has revealed that the deceased Mahalakshmi was a resident of another state, but she was living in Bengaluru for a long time. The police suspect that people close to the woman may be involved in the murder. That is why the police is scanning all the CCTV footage around the crime scene so that the killer can be identified and arrested as soon as possible.

Absconding of the accused

After the murder, the accused fled from the scene. The police is investigating every angle of the incident and trying to gather clues about the accused.
