While buying the idol of God, remember that the idols of Mata Lakshmi and Ganesha should be in a sitting posture. Do not bring home the idol of God in a standing posture.

Keep in mind that the idol of Maa Lakshmi should be seated on a lotus flower. She should have a lotus in one hand and is blessing with the other hand. Apart from this, there can also be a pot of money. It will be better if the color of the idol of Mata is pink.
