First of all, know that an e-Aadhaar card is an electronic copy of your own Aadhaar. You can keep it on your mobile, or computer. Its biggest advantage is that there is no fear of it getting torn or lost.

This is the way to download e-Aadhaar:-
Step 1
If you also want to have an e-Aadhaar, then you can download it
For this, first of all, you have to go to the official website of UIDAI https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/genricDownloadAadhaar/en
Then here you will see three options, out of which you have to click on the one with the Aadhaar number

Step 2
Now you have to enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number here

After filling the Aadhaar number, you will see the captcha code given on the screen
You have to fill in this captcha here
Then you have to click on 'Send OTP'

Step 3
After this, an OTP will come on your registered mobile number (the mobile number that is linked to your Aadhaar card)
You have to enter this OTP here.
After this, you have to click on the 'Verify and Download' button, after which your e-Aadhaar will be downloaded.
You can download this e-Aadhaar in your name You can open it by entering the first four letters and year of date of birth (by entering a password).
