India Pakistan Conflict: Pakistan on Saturday claimed that its three airbases were targeted by Indian missiles and drones. Due to which they were destroyed. Pakistani Army spokesman Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary called a hurried press conference at around 4 am in Islamabad. In this, he said that Noor Khan (Chaklala, Rawalpindi), Murid (Chakwal) and Rafiki (Shorkot in Jhang district) Pakistani Air Force airbases were targeted. However, the army spokesman did not show any evidence to confirm his claims.
Some of India's missiles also fell in Pakistan's Punjab
This claim has been made amid rising tensions with India. India launched Operation Sindoor to avenge the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on April 22. Noor Khan Airbase in Rawalpindi, where the Pakistani Army is headquartered. It is about 10 kilometers away from the capital Islamabad. Sharif also claimed that some of India's missiles fell in his Punjab and some also went to Afghanistan. He claimed, "But all the assets of the Air Force are safe."

He said that Pakistan's air defense system intercepted many missiles. Chaudhary said that this is a horrific act of India which is pushing the region towards a deadly war. Chaudhry did not take any questions and abruptly ended the press conference. The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) issued a notification saying that Pakistan's airspace has been closed for all air traffic from 3.15 am to 12 noon.
