'They only give awards to liberals', why did Trump get angry about the Nobel Peace Prize?

Donald Trump Nobel Peace Prize Controversy: Donald Trump said that I should get the peace prize, especially in the case of India and Pakistan. Trump also targeted the Nobel Committee.

Donald Trump on Nobel Peace Prize: US President Donald Trump has once again demanded the Nobel Peace Prize for himself. While talking to the media in New Jersey, he said that he should have received the Nobel Peace Prize for playing an important role in reducing tensions between India and Pakistan. 

He said, "I should get the Peace Prize, especially in the case of India and Pakistan. This was a very big and difficult task." Trump also targeted the Nobel Committee and said that this award is often given to those people who are associated with liberal ideology.

 

 

Trump's big claim on India-Pakistan ceasefire

Donald Trump made a big claim while talking to the media. He said that in May 2025, when the tension between India and Pakistan was at its peak, he personally intervened and helped in getting a ceasefire. He claimed that he contacted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Pakistani Army Chief General Asim Munir and prepared both the parties for talks. 

India rejected Trump's claims

However, the Indian government categorically rejected these claims. India says that this ceasefire was the result of direct dialogue between the military officials of both the countries and there was no role of any third party in it.

Pakistan demands Nobel Prize for Trump

Pakistan has also proposed Trump's name for the Nobel Peace Prize. The Pakistani government says that during the recent tension between India and Pakistan, Trump showed important diplomatic intervention and strong leadership, due to which he has been given this nomination. However, Trump himself believes that no matter how great things he has done, he will never get this award.
