BBC Breakfast presenter Jon Kay offered a rare glimpse into his family life during Tuesday's (2 September) episode of the BBC programme, as he disclosed a "big change" within his household.
The presenter was back on television screens alongside Sally Nugent on Tuesday. The pair were accompanied by various guests as they delivered all the latest news and headlines to viewers.
During Tuesday's BBC Breakfast, parenting specialist and clinical psychologist Dr Martha Deiros Collado featured amongst the guests.

Dr Martha was present to offer parents top advice for assistingtheir children in preparing to return to school following the extended summer break.
Her BBC Breakfast appearance followed revelations that numerous children arrive at school unable to complete fundamental tasks, including tying their shoelaces or properly putting on a jacket, reports the Express.

Dr Martha delivered valuable guidance on preparing youngsters for school, helping to calm anxieties, and addressing any distress that arises at the school entrance.
As the interview drew to a close, Jon reflected on the situation facing parents without children starting school this September.
He disclosed that he was among those parents, explaining that for the first time in two decades, he won't be preparing to send any of his children off to school.
"I'm just thinking, in our house, it's the first time in 20-something years that we've not had anyone going to school," Jon told Sally and Martha. His co-presenter, Sally, responded, "Oh, don't! That is also difficult.
"What about that, Dr Martha, that's a big change?" Jon said, prompting Dr Martha to ask: "That's a massive change! Are you okay?"
The father-of-three replied: "I'm alright at the moment," before cheekily quipping: "But, I don't know who is going to help me put my coat on!"

Jon and his wife, Francesca Kasteliz, have two sons and a daughter. They tied the knot in 1998 after meeting in the newsroom at BBC Radio Bristol, where Francesca works as a TV coach.
Jon generally shields his family from public attention, but does reference his children from time to time on BBC Breakfast.
His co-presenter, Sally, is mum to a 17-year-old lad with former husband Gavin Hawthorn. The ex-couple called time on their 13-year marriage in 2023.
BBC Breakfast broadcasts daily from 6am on BBC One.
