Celebrity Big Brother's Trisha Goddard's daughter, Billie Dee, has suggested her mum could be a supportive figure for Mickey Rourke amid his recent controversy.
TV legend Trisha, 67, who bravely shared news of her cancer's return after first facing it in 2008, made a grand entrance into the Celebrity house on Monday night, despite having previously declined the opportunity.
She's joined by various celebrities, including Hollywood's own Mickey Rourke, who stirred up a media storm as soon as he stepped into the house.

In a recent episode, 72 year old Mickey was issued a formal warning by Big Brother due to 'offensive comments' directed at fellow contestant JoJo Siwa.

Billie appeared on ITV's on Friday (April 11), chatting with hosts Dermot O'Leary and about her mother's potential role as an ally for Mickey, reports .
Sian highlighted Trisha's upfront nature, saying: "I love that she was honest on the first night when Danny Beard was really loud and I like that she just went straight over and said 'by the way you did my head in last night, you're too loud.'"
Billie couldn't help but laugh as she recounted: "I've had this conversation with my mum several times, I almost cringed for Danny there. I said to her 'mum don't be so grumpy on your first morning' but she commands respect."
Sian asked: "He appreciated the honesty but do you think Mickey will appreciate the honesty?"
Billie offered her take, saying: "I think he will. I think he might have an ally in mum so we will see how that goes. They are of a similar age and a similar generation."
Dermot chimed in with his perspective: "She could be the link between him and the younger generation and him realising that the words he uses and even if he doesn't use them in offence are offensive and maybe bring him out of it."
Billie responded: "Let's hope so." Sian then noted the potential outcome of such an interaction: "There is probably a level of respect there, if she said it in the right way to him then maybe he would take it onboard and we might see that side of him."
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV and ITVX
