Emmerdale Dylan's secret 'exposed' as spoiler reveals what he's hiding from April

It seems returning character Dylan Penders is hiding something on Emmerdale, with him initially acting weirdly around April Windsor.

With the pals reunited this week, it's not long before romance is thought to blossom. But Dylan is covering up more than one thing it seems, with actor Fred Kettle reprising the role after months off screen.

First of all he's initially hiding his return to the village, hiding in bushes and being discreet. Not very discreet though given his involvement in the break-in at Moira Dingle's farm, which has left Dylan badly injured.

His guilt remains under wraps for now, with Dylan and someone else wearing masks before being caught in one of the barns. Ahead of his motive being explained, Dylan will keep this from April before she realises all about his injury.

But there's something else, much bigger, that he's keeping secret. Scenes this week give away that Dylan is caught up in new villain Ray's criminal ways.

Ray is also back in the village this week, and spoilers have revealed he's keen to track down the teen. In episodes this week, Dylan will be seen hiding from Ray, and when he spots him in the village he flees.

April has no idea what's going on, with Dylan keeping her in the dark about Ray and whatever it is they're up to. He does drop hints during Tuesday's episode about his "job" and a man he is working for, but keeps the full truth out of it.

So when she and Dylan are meant to be meeting for a date later in the week, Dylan ditches things to hide away from Ray. So will he be forced to come clean?

Secrets continue next week, when Dylan continues to act suspiciously. He's caught out by Paddy Kirk though who realises the troubled teen needs help.

That said, Dylan continues to hide from Ray and ignores his messages. When Ray eventually tracks him down he has a job for him, but Dylan rejects this not wanting to get involved.

Ray acts like he's cool with it, only to be shown spying on Dylan and April later on. So does April know what's going on at this point, and how long can Dylan keep it all hidden?

What exactly is going on with Ray? Given Dylan will be shown with drugs in his bag it's safe to assume this is tied in with the work he does for Ray, after Ray was revealed to be a dealer and selling drugs weeks ago.

So for now Dylan is hiding his link to Ray, with no one aware they are linked. He's also hiding some criminal activity, and the fact he works for Ray - but surely it won't be long before the truth comes out.
