Scope, a charity shop chain with branches across England and Wales, has announced plans to shut down six more stores between 30 August and 27 September, following the closure of 50 shops earlier this year.
The Alton branch is set to be the first to close its doors on Saturday, followed by Bishop's Stortford, Huntingdon and Newmarket on 6 September. The Beverley and Fleet stores will permanently close on 27 September.
These closures follow Scope's decision to shut down 50 branches since early March after a consultation process. Six shops closed before the end of the consultation, including stores in Bexhill, Mitcham and Worthing, according to the Sun.

An additional 18 stores closed before 31 March, including shops in Amersham, Barking and Scunthorpe. A wave of closures followed in May, with 11 shops including Exmouth, Bury and Newport closing their doors for the final time by 31 May.
A final round of closures occurred this summer as ten stores permanentlyclosed by 29 June, one closed on 19 July and four closed by 19 August. In total, the chain is considering shutting 77 of its 138 shops across the country, reports Lancs Live.
Debbie Boylen, head of retail at disability equality charity Scope, said: "We never take the decision to close our stores lightly. For our team members and volunteers, it's more than just a job.
"We know they feel passionately about playing their part in our work to create an equal future with disabled people, and our decision does not reflect their hard work or dedication to Scope."
She further emphasised that Scope will maintain its high street presence, with its shops serving as direct points of engagement with local communities.
