Win Win with People's Postcode Lottery returned to ITV tonight, with dynamic duo Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins continuing to bring their signature charm to the new quiz show.

Despite the upbeat atmosphere, eagle-eyed viewers were quick to notice a significant gaffe when an on-screen error occurred just minutes into the broadcast.

Win Win is a participatory quiz show where 40 studio contestants and at-home viewers vie for staggering prizes, including a jackpot of one million pounds.

In tonight's episode, contestants were tempted with jaw-dropping offers such as a fully-paid holiday to the Maldives and a lavish kitchen makeover valued at over £15k.

Yet, many hopefuls opted to forgo these enticing rewards in pursuit of the grand £1m prize, reports the Express.

After a contestant turned down the Maldivian getaway, hosts Sue and Mel revealed that a fortunate viewer would receive the prize instead, only to be met with a technical hiccup.

Instead of displaying the winner's name, the screen simply said: "To see who's won go to ITV.COM/WIN."

Viewers didn't miss a beat, with one tweeting in confusion: "What? ! #winwin didnt work that mel and sue."

Another expressed concern: "Oh no they've got Mel and Sue reacting to a URL now!"

A baffled fan questioned: "It didn't show the name of the person who had won, did it?"

To add to the mishaps, another viewer pointed out a typo in one of the question graphics, promptly sharing evidence of the blunder online.

The question posed was: "What do Brits think is the most unacceptable behaviour on a work video call?"

Unfortunately, the answer displayed a typo, stating: "Having a pet on your your lap."

A viewer took to social media with a screenshot, jokingly writing: "Not only did @ITV not say who won the prize on #winwin they also don't spell check... talk about having a mare (laughing emoji)."

Despite the hiccup, the show recovered later as another at-home winner was declared without a hitch.

While the new quiz show has received mixed reviews, some fans are getting into the spirit, with one excitedly commenting: "First time watching! ! ! So it's just purely guessing... This is a game I can win!!!"

Another first-time watcher remarked: "Watching #WinWin for the 1st time. Who Wants to be a Millionaire meets Tenable."
