WARNING: This article contains spoilers from Wednesday.
Jenna Ortega has given an insight into what’s to come from Wednesday season two, including something that didn’t feature in the first series.
After rescuing Nevermore Academy from Crackstone and an unknown stalker following her, it wasn’t exactly a quiet time at school for Wednesday Addams (played by Jenna Ortega).
The Netflix drama quickly became an instant global hit so it wasn’t too much of a surprise when Wednesday was renewed for season two which begins on Wednesday, August 6.
Ahead of the new episodes dropping, Netflix spoke to Ortega about the upcoming series and what fans can expect this time around.
But it was when the star was questioned on what Wednesday had been up to during the summer in between series one and two that she teased a new set.

Ortega shared: “Over the summer, Wednesday moved back to the Addams mansion. We get to see her bedroom this season.
“She probably purchased a lot more weapons, tortured Pugsley (Isaac Ordonez) some more. She did scalp someone, and that’s all I know.”
Season two will be the first time that fans get to see Wednesday’s childhood bedroom at the Addams family household with the first outing just showing where she resides with friend and roommate Enid Sinclair (Emma Myers).
Undoubtedly, her room won’t be like any other girls her age with the star teasing “more weapons” on her summer agenda.

Ortega further talked about how season two has amped up the stakes.
She commented: “This season, there were just so many big sets and so many big sequences that was really exciting to go to set and wonder, ‘Oh man, I wonder what this stage will look like today, and I wonder what this person’s going to be wearing today,’ and ‘I wonder what this character is going to look like.’
“We had a lot of new faces joining and they all assimilated into the show so seamlessly and so well that there are plenty of new characters for people to learn to love — or maybe hate.
“It just feels like the show’s been given new life, but Wednesday still remains very dead.”
Wednesday season two premieres on Wednesday, August 6, on Netflix.
