Jowita Przystal admits her 'dream comes true' after confirming Pete Wicks romance

Strictly Come Dancing professional Jowita Przystal has spoken out for the first time afterconfirming her romancewith last year's celebrity dance partner Pete Wicks. The dancer sparked fierce speculation she was dating Pete during their time on the BBC dance competition.

While they both tried to play down the rumours, the pair shared many sizzling dance routines together and struck up a close bond away from the dancefloor. Fans hoped something would come of the chemistry, yet Pete, 36, became linked to Love Island's Maura Higgins.

They dated until early this year, and following their split Pete was seen meeting up with Jowita, 31. The two insisted they were just close friends, yet last night they finally sealed the deal with a series of steamy smooches.

Jowita joined TOWIE's Pete at London's O2 Arena for his Staying Relevant podcast show alongside best pal Sam Thompson. They performed a dance routine they had hoped to do at the Strictly final but locked lips three times during the dance.

Hours later, Jowita has issued a message to her fans. She penned: "I'm still buzzing after last night performance... and to be honest I feel absolutely speechless. But just wanted to say for now thank you @stayingrelevantpodcast for including me in your legendary one night only, you always make me feel like I'm part of the family."

Jowita went on to thank her team for creating the routine as well as her hair and makeup artists. She added: "Massive thank you to everyone who came to watch, thank you for all your beautiful messages, your support means everything."

In a direct comment to Pete, she shared: "And last but not least @p_wicks01 for making my dream come true. Had the best night ever. More to come, J."

Just weeks before locking lips with Jowita, Pete confessed to being 'in love' on his podcast. Taking part in a lie detector test he was asked by pal Sam: "Are you in love with somebody right now?"

Pete answered 'no', but he was proven to be lying as the polygraph examiner said he wasn't telling the truth, by giving a thumbs down. Sam screamed: "Ahhh I knew it! And that's all we're going to say," to which Pete replied: "How could you do that to me?"

The former Made In Chelsea star said: "I don't know, it just came to my head, it's a f****** lie. Pete's in love secretly and I think I know who it is."

Pete insisted: "You know exactly who it is, I literally told you the f****** story, she's not replied." Fans went wild following Pete and Jowita's very intimate dance last night as one asked: "Was that like a hard launch?"

"Hard launch for Pete and Jowita," a second said while a third wrote: "You & jowita" with a heart eye emoji. A source claimed to the Daily Mail: "Pete and Jowita are now an item, they've been dating for a few weeks.

"They kept things professional on Strictly, there was no crossover with Maura. But once Pete was single they grew close again and recently the relationship has blossomed into something more."
