Strictly Come Dancing spin-off show, It Takes Two, was halted on Thursday night as Anton Au Beke pointed out an awkward royal blunder.

During the latest instalment, host Janette Manrara interviewed judges Anton, 58, and Craig Revel Horwood, where she asked the duo a series of questions from fans.

One fan asked: "If you could have a guest judge for one show only, who would you choose?" to which Craig, 59, replied: "I would choose ! Yes because she knows what she's talking about! I think she'd be great" as Janette, 40, pointed out she's a "big fan" of the dancing show.

Craig continued: "Yeah, she loves the show, and also, she does know what she's talking about as she's a really brilliant dancer! I would love her on the show!"

Janette then asked, "Is this a campaign? Shall we try and get her on? If you're watching, we'd love you, madam!" However, Anton was quick to correct Janette's use of "madam" by saying, "Ma'am!" repeatedly. To which Janette said, "Ma'am! Sorry, sorry!" Anton and Craig joked about the use of "madam."

It comes as Nick Knowles appeared on Monday's episode of spin-off It Takes Two following his show exit. The DIY SOS star, 62, became the third celebrity eliminated from the 20th anniversary series of the hit One dance show on Sunday night. It comes as Nick returned to the dancing competition this weekend, having missed out on movie week following an injury to his knee.

Appearing on Monday's show, Nick's pro partner, Luba Mushtuk, broke down in tears as the duo watched an emotional montage of their best moments on the show. A tearful Luba, 34, emotionally said after the sweet video: "Yes", before composing herself.

"Thank you, thank you for being you and for being an incredible student. I loved every single moment, we'll still dance again!"

Elsewhere during the interview, Nick had a five-word response over his show exit, saying: "It was the right result!" He explained: "I had a week off and you can see actually everyone had progressed a lot in that week, I just didn't have time to be able to catch up and do well enough to stay in the competition.

"I think it was the right result in the end, and it means I can now get the various bits of me that are falling off sorted out. Literally, I might have an operation on the arm this week and then another operation on the knee in a couple or three weeks' time. So I can get myself sorted!"

Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One on Saturday, October 19 at 6.25pm with the results show on October 20 at 7.20pm also on BBC One.
