Dermot O'Leary issued an apology on This Morning during Friday's show after pointing out an on-air blunder during a Eurovision-themed cooking segment.
chef Clodagh McKenna was presenting dishes from around Europe in celebration of the upcoming Eurovision final.
She showcased various treats, saying: "These, I think are my favourite at the moment, they're like a mix of Danish and Italian. Spinach, ricotta, pastry swirls. We're going to show you how to make."

The chef also featured other Eurovision-inspired recipes, including Greek salad skewers, Swiss chocolate rolls and German sausages with a dipping sauce.
However, Dermot noticed something amiss with one of the flags displayed alongside the Danish dish.
He quipped: "Clodagh, the Danish and Italian, why is it a Spanish flag?"
Clodagh insisted the flag was correct, stating: "It doesn't! This is a Danish flag..." Dermot, though, was convinced the flag was Spanish.
The studio erupted into laughter, and Clodagh eventually confessed: "Well, do you know what? I wasn't in charge of flags."
Dermot responded: "I was just curious! Sorry, I shouldn't have said anything." The lighthearted moment continued as Dermot transitioned to the next segment, featuring Coupon King Jordon Cox, reports .

Despite the flag mix-up, the Eurovision celebration remained a joyful part of the show.
When asked about his recent activities, he quipped: "Other than tasting Clodagh's strawberries, I've been looking for loads of deals- that sounded pretty , I'm sorry!"
Despite his attempt to move on with the show's agenda, Jordon found it difficult to regain his composure.
Eventually, he managed to say 'I'll see you later' before exiting the scene as Dermot and Lisa were heard chuckling off-camera.
This Morning's usual lineup changed on Friday when Lisa Snowdon filled in for the regular host , who was under the weather.
Alison addressed her unexpected absence with her fans on social media, explaining: " I've had the worst for the last 2-3 days. It's hit me like a bus.
"So, I'm just letting you know that I'm not going to be making today but the lovely Lisa Snowdon is going to be stepping into my shoes and looking after my lovely Dermot."
She also informed her audience that she plans to return to the ITV programme next week.
This Morning is available to watch on ITVX.
