Wayne Rooney has revealed the cringeworthy comment his former Man Utd boss made to his wife,Coleen, when the pair first met. Louis Van Gaal managed the Red Devils between 2014 and 2016, and shared a close bond with Wayne, making him captain when he arrived at the club.
However, when the Dutchman first met theScouse WAG at a players' lunch, he made a jaw-dropping comment about Wayne's sperm - in an exchange no-one saw coming.
Wayne, 39, has openly spoken about how Van Gaal was 'quite a loud and bubbly character' in the past, and during the latest episode of , he revealed the toe-curling quip the now 74-year-old made during his first-ever conversation with Coleen, 39.

"I loved him, he was so funny," the dad-of-four said, explaining: "The first time he met Coleen, we had a lunch with all the players, wives, girlfriends, staff.
"He came up to Coleen, first time he had met her, he said: "Your children, they look very much like the father'.
"She said: 'Yeah', he said: 'He has very strong sperm'. That was the first time he met her!"
The bombshell comment did not bother Wayne, who admitted he found the conversation rather amusing.
"He was so funny, such a good character," the Scouser said, adding: "We just moved on. I really liked him as a person. He was different and funny but as a coach I probably learned more from him than I did from anyone else."
Coleen has been in the public eye ever since she was 16 when she and Wayne started dating. Now, married and with four kids, the England star admitted things have altered their relationship since their sons have come along.
The couple’s four sons, Kai, Klay, Kit, and Cass, have certainly changed the dynamics of family life.
Wayne and Coleen, who were childhood sweethearts from Croxteth, Liverpool, have been married for 17 years.
Telling his podcast listeners, that his wife used to leave his clothes freshly ironed, ready for the morning, he said: "Before we had kids, Coleen used to leave my clothes out the night before. So, every day, yeah… She'd put my clothes out, ironed and ready for me to put on the next morning."
Laughing, he continued: "Now I've got to get up and get my own clothes, I’m fuming. No, but yeah… Obviously now with kids…
“She does it obviously now with the kids. She does it for all the kids now the night before and stuff. Yeah.”
