The booking and activation process of this annual pass, which started on Independence Day, can be done online from home. This initiative received a tremendous response on the very first day of its launch. According to NHAI, as of 7 pm on 15 August, about 1.4 lakh users bought and activated the annual pass, with as many as 1.39 lakh transactions recorded at toll plazas.

Support through app and helpline

To assist passengers, NHAI has deployed officers and nodal officers at every toll plaza. Along with this, the 1033 National Highway Helpline has been further strengthened to resolve complaints and technical problems, where now more than 100 officers are working continuously. Currently, 20,000 to 25,000 users are actively using this service at all times on the Highway Yatra mobile app.
