Ayushmann Khurrana’s latest horror-comedy “Thama”, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna, hit theaters on October 21, 2025, and has been receiving widespread praise. The film is part of the Maddock Horror-Comedy Universe, which also includes Varun Dhawan’s “Bhediya”.
Rs 20 Crore Wolf vs Betaal SequenceA major highlight of the film is the Wolf vs. Betaal clash, featuring Varun Dhawan in a cameo and Ayushmann Khurrana. According to reports, the makers spent a whopping ₹20 crore on this single sequence.
Producer Dinesh Vijan personally supervised the shoot to ensure high-quality VFX and flawless execution. Director Aditya Sarpotdar helmed the project, but the crucial Bhediya vs. Betaal sequence was carefully overseen by Vijan to maintain its cinematic impact.
