On Thursday, November 7, 'Splitsvilla 5' fame actor Nitin Chauhan was found dead in his house in Mumbai. Nitin's sudden death has sent shockwaves across the industry. Some of Nitin's close friends claimed that he committed suicide, and the Mumbai Police has also confirmed the same. Now, Nitin's wife has also given a statement about the tragic incident and revealed the reason behind his suicide.
He was in depression due to not getting work
According to a report, Dindoshi police have said that Nitin Chauhan was undergoing treatment for depression for many years. According to his wife's statement, Nitin was not getting any work for the last three-four years, which had a bad effect on his mental condition. Due to lack of work, Nitin tried a lot to manage himself, he even tried to start an ice cream business. But this work was also not successful, due to which tension increased in his house.

On the day Nitin Chauhan committed suicide, his wife was in the garden with their daughter. When she returned home and knocked on the door, there was no response. The door was locked from inside, which made her worried. Somehow, after breaking the door and going inside, she found Nitin hanging from the fan. He was immediately taken to the hospital, but the doctors declared him dead. At present, the police is investigating the matter.
