Why did Ritesh break up with his wife in the middle of the night?

Whenever we talk about the cutest couples of Bollywood, the names of Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza come first. Both are well known for their great chemistry and funny style. Their happy life and strong bonding make everyone think that these two are a perfect match. Ritesh and Genelia decided to get married after dating each other for a long time. But recently Genelia revealed in an interview that there was a time when Ritesh joked about breaking up with her.

April Fool prank became the reason for trouble

In an interview given to Shreya Godhavat, Genelia shared some funny anecdotes from her and Ritesh's personal life. She told that once Ritesh had played a prank on her which she can never forget. This anecdote is from the time when both of them were dating each other.

Genelia told that this incident happened on April Fool's Day. Ritesh sent her a message after 1 o'clock in the night in which he wrote, "Now we cannot live together." After sending this message, Ritesh went to sleep, because he always slept late. When Genelia saw that message at around 2 o'clock in the night, she was shocked and got upset. She could not understand what had happened.

After being upset all night, Genelia couldn't sleep the whole night and by morning her condition worsened. When Ritesh woke up at 9 am, he called Genelia and asked in a very cool way, "Hi, how are you?" Genelia immediately replied, "We should not talk. I can't talk to you."

Ritesh could not understand what went wrong, he asked, "What happened? Did I say something wrong?" Then Genelia reminded him of his message from the night before. As soon as Ritesh remembered his message, he laughed and said that it was an April Fool's joke. But Genelia was so angry about this joke that she got angry at Ritesh again.

The prank proved costly

After this prank, Ritesh realized that this joke has cost him heavily. Although this incident has now become a memorable and funny incident between the two, but at that time Genelia was very angry about it.
