It appears that Holly Valance and Nick Candy's marriage has been quietly unravelling for some time. Reports suggest the former couple, who tied the knot in 2012 and share two daughters, 13-year-old Luka Violet Toni and 7-year-old Nova Skye Coco, had been living separate lives for years before their alleged split.
Holly, 42, is best known for her role in Neighbours and her 2002 hit Kiss Kiss, while Nick, 52, is a prominent property developer and treasurer of Reform UK, the political party currently led by Nigel Farage. Though they maintained a public image of unity, sources close to the pair claim their relationship had effectively ended well before the official divorce proceedings began. A source told MailOnline: "They have been living separate lives for a long time, he's travelling a lot and it's been a lonely life for Holly. Nick has businesses in Dubai and London, and is a member of the Reform Party." The breakup marks the end of a 13-year marriage that was once viewed as a fairytale.
Express.co.uk has contacted a representative of Holly and Nick's for comment.
Despite reportedly living separate lives for some time, Holly and Nick still made occasional public appearances together as recently as March. The couple were last photographed enjoying a lavish lunch in London, with the actress turning heads in a full Chanel ensemble and carrying a £2,300 Christian Dior tote.
Before that, they were notably seen together at several high-profile political events. The pair publicly supported Nigel Farage at Reform UK conferences, following Nick's decision to break from the Conservative Party and take on a prominent role as Reform UK's treasurer. They were also spotted rubbing shoulders with former U.S. President Donald Trump.
The couple were no strangers to opulence, having built a life marked by extreme wealth and luxury. At the height of their marriage, the couple resided in what's believed to be the UK's most expensive flat, a £175 million 'superluxe' penthouse in London's Hyde Park.
The sprawling two-storey apartment reportedly featured five bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a private gym and spa, a 21-metre lap pool, a cinema, a cocktail bar, a wine cellar, a golf simulator, and a media room. Residents also enjoyed two terraces, valet parking, and room service from the adjacent five-star Mandarin Oriental hotel. Their property empire didn't stop there. The couple is also said to own a £75 million mansion in Chelsea and a £10 million countryside estate in the Cotswolds, underscoring the expansive nature of their real estate portfolio.
In 2020, Nick made headlines by gifting Holly a £26 million superyacht. Ironically, despite the extravagant gesture, Holly reportedly suffers from severe seasickness. Determined to enjoy the gift, she was said to have enlisted the help of celebrity hypnotist Paul McKenna to overcome her condition. The ex-couple is said to want to keep things private out of respect for their family. A friend shared: "This has been a very difficult period for both Nick and Holly. The joint parenting of their two amazing daughters remains their top priority."
