UK have predicted a sharp rise in temperatures in the UK over the next couple of weeks as summer approaches. The map generated by Net Weather shows a large stretch from Scotland down to southern England shaded in dark red, indicating . According to the forecast, temperatures will reach as high as a scorching 29C on June 11.
Heat will blast through the UK from as early as 9a.m. Maps show various regions in southern England, including , Greater London, and Essex, being as hot as 25C in the morning. By midday, the heat will become even more widespread, with the Midlands hitting temperatures between 25C and 28C.

Over in the Scottish Highlands, areas such as Inverness and other parts of the Highlands will also welcome the balmy weather, with temperatures of 24C and 25C. The weather is meant to hold right until the evening, before it begins to cool down at 9pm.
The Met Office also makes note of the "hot spells" in its Long Range Forecast dated between Wednesday, June 11 and Wednesday, June 25. As well as echoing the hot weather that will be particularly prominent in the south.
The forecast states: "Changeable weather across the UK with a mixture of Atlantic weather systems moving in from the west interspersed with dry and sunny periods. Wetter conditions tending to be towards the northwest of the UK, with the south and southeast likely to see more in the way of dry weather.
"Temperatures are most likely to be near or slightly above normal, perhaps with some hot spells at times, especially across the south. Any hot spells may be accompanied by an increased chance of thunderstorms though."
