ITV This Morning fans distracted by 'brutal TV' as guest makes X-rated comment

This Morning viewers were left in stitches during an awkward yet hilarious segment when a guest unexpectedly brought up the adult TV channel, Babestation. Presenters Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley were steering Monday's show, which featured impersonators Lee Lard and Stewart Nicol discussing their careers.

Lee Lard, known for his Peter Kay impersonations, and Stewart Nicol, famed for mimicking Billy Connolly, shared some of their most unforgettable experiences. However, it was Stewart who threw Ben and Cat with a surprising revelation from his past.

Stewart reminisced: "There was this thing on MTV and I was playing the father of the bride and two bridesmaids that was on Babestation. I don't know if you've heard of Babestation?"

Lee couldn't resist teasing: "Ben's heard of that!" With Cat seemingly clueless about Babestation, she probed further, prompting Ben to quip, "We'll tell you afterward".

Stewart continued with a jest: "Babestation I've never seen it. I believe it's on station 236," reports the Mirror.

As the conversation took an unexpected turn, amused fans flocked to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their reactions. One viewer commented: "This is brutal TV."

Another added humorously: "There's a nice Babestation plug there." Meanwhile, a third echoed the surprise of many by asking: "Did you just say Babestation?!"

And a fourth chimed in with: "Babestation. Bl**dy hell."

But the show wasn't just thrown into the spotlight because of its mention of Babestation viewers were also abuzz over the impersonators' resemblance, or lack of, to the comedians they were meant to emulate and they didn't hold back with their comments on social media.

One viewer said: "He looks nothing like Peter Kay. Looks more like Dermot Murnaghan. And as for 'Billy Connolly', Jaysus."

Another quipped: "If you really think they look like Peter Kay and Billy Connolly... you really should've gone to Specsavers."

Echoing the sentiment, a third chipped in: "If he's Peter Kay then I'm Beyonce! ... Please note I'm blonde and 4ft 11." Adding to the commentary, someone else pointed out: "There's only one Billy Connolly."
