Growing up on the centre stage of the world means many details in the lives of , Princess Charlotte and s are analysed with a fine tooth comb from the day they were born - including their birth certificates.

Prince Louis's birth certificate presents one stark difference from those of his eldest siblings, George and

Prince Louis was born on April 23, 2018, the youngest child of the Prince and Princess of Wales. However, his birth certificate was produced entirely differently from that of his older brother and sister.

Louis's was typed up on a computer, whereas Prince George and Princess Charlotte's were handwritten, magazine reports.

The three children were all born in St. Mary's Hospital in Paddington, London. This is the same place that Princess Diana gave birth to her sons, Princes William and Harry.

Much like his late mother-in-law, Kate stepped out of the hospital hours after giving birth to her children to introduce her new babies to the world, enabling the public to take a long-awaited glimpse.

The magazine also noted that George and Charlotte both had their births registered by the same deputy registrar, in 2013 and 2015 respectively.

However, a different member of staff registered youngster Louis, a detail that could explain the difference between the certificates. The report also suggests that protocol may have changed between 2015 and 2018, when Charlotte and then Louis were born.

Back in 2020, Kate opened up about her famous post-birth photographs outside of the hospital. Speaking on the Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast, the now-Princess of Wales admitted to finding the large number of photographers and press "slightly terrifying" following the birth of George.

However, Kate added: "We're hugely grateful for the support that the public has shown us, and actually for us to be able to share that joy and appreciation with the public,

"I felt was really important. But equally, it was coupled with a newborn baby and inexperienced parents... so there were all sorts of mixed emotions."
