Princess Kate is well known for her healthy approach to food and her overall lifestyle, and her favourite breakfast is in line with that and so easy to make. The Princess of Wales has kept her diet preferences private for the most part through the years, however, there have been times when she, or other royal insiders shared a small glimpse into what she likes.
Kate is known to like nutritious food that will fuel her body throughout the day. One of her reported go-to meals requires two simple ingredients that many of us already use at home.
The meal in question is porridge, which Kate is said to enjoy in the morning before the day's tasks.

Slow-burn energy oats can keep the royal "filled up and with enough fuel to attend royal events, exercise and run after her three children", according to nutrition experts at BarBend.
As the princess is known to love a good, consistent workout too, the experts said that oats can be an excellent exercise fuel, "as they release energy throughout the whole workout."
Porridge is easy to make as it only requires water, or milk (or both) and your preferred choice of oats.
It can be spiced up by various other add-ons, including the fruit of your choice, cinnamon, your preferred sweetener or even nuts.
To maintain her royal glow, Kate is also said to enjoy antioxidant-filled smoothies.
She reportedly blends a combination of kale, spirulina, matcha, spinach, romaine and blueberries together for a healthy morning pick-me-up.
According to reports, the Princess of Wales likes vegetarian dishes for lunch, even though she's not vegetarian.
Watermelon salads, tabbouleh, ceviche and gazpacho are some of her favourites, whilst she also enjoys vegetable kebabs and lentil curries.
For dinner, Kate is known to enjoy the classics - with her favourites including roasts, pasta and curries.
Back in 2012, it was revealed that roast chicken was William's favourite dinner too.
She has also previously mentioned she's a big fan of spicy food, unlike the Prince of Wales.
Kate has also spoken about her family's love for pasta.
During a visit to Lavender Primary School, the royal revealed that her children love cooking. She also said the family enjoy making cheesy pasta, salads, pizza and baking cakes.
