Royal fans are all saying the same thing about Princess Anne today after a new portrait was released of the royal yesterday. On Friday, a week before the Princess Royal's 75th birthday, Buckingham Palace released a new portrait to celebrate the upcoming milestone.
The photograph, taken by royal photographer Chris Jackson, shows the King's sister standing with her husband Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence ahead of the State Banquet hosted at Windsor Castle for French President Emmanuel Macron last month. In the photograph, Anne is wearing a white gown, a bolero jacket, and the Festoon tiara.
Smiling at the camera, Anne and her husband look happy in the photograph, with many royal fans rushing to compliment the princess, who is best known as the "hardest working royal", having often carried out the most royal engagements each year.
Talking about the new portrait, one fan wrote on X: "Wonderful photo of our beloved HRH Princess Anne, Princess Royal, and her extremely supporting husband Tim."
Another said: "Full respect for this lady."
Someone else wrote: "Princess Anne is simply terrific!"
A fourth fan said: "Princess Anne and her husband Sir Tim Laurence are an amazing pair. I love Princess Anne's smile because it lights up her eyes. They are loyal to the Crown, and they look fantastic."
Princess Anne will celebrate her birthday privately next week, with no public celebration to be held.
Instead, Anne opted to mark her birthday earlier this year on the royal stage by hosting a reception at Buckingham Palace for the charities she has supported.
It is believed this was a choice made by the princess, who has always been committed to her royal duties.
