Superman has finally taken flight on our screens yesterday (Friday, 11th July), and is already predicted to be one of the summer's biggest cinematic spectacles.
Introducing David Corenswet as the legendary superhero, director James Gunn has gathered a stellar cast to pioneer a fresh DC Universe.
Joining the rising star as Clark Kent's equally renowned love interest, the sharp Daily Planet reporter Lois Lane, is Rachel Brosnahan, the award-winning lead of Prime Video's hit drama, The Marvelous Mrs Maisel.
Brosnahan portrays the eponymous Miriam 'Midge' Maisel, a prosperous Jewish American housewife in 1958 who discovers a new zest for life when she becomes a famed stand-up comedian in New York following a drunken routine at the Gaslight nightclub.
Her world is turned upside down when her husband Joel (played by Michael Zegen) abandons her for his secretary, but Midge soon finds an ally in fellow controversial stand-up, Lenny Bruce (Luke Kirby), reports the Mirror US.
Spanning five captivating seasons, the drama has become one of Prime Video's most successful shows and is essential viewing for anyone smitten with Brosnahan's spirited portrayal of Lois.
A glowing Google review awarded it five stars, dubbing it a "10/10 must-watch".

A further review with a perfect score praised: "Excellent series. Fantastic nuanced writing and a wonderful, rich ensemble cast.
"The production quality is amazing. This is a show that rewards women viewers - it is centred around strong, complex female characters and their successes and setbacks."
Brosnahan is set to ascend to even greater stardom following her role in Superman, so don't miss her remarkable breakthrough performance in this much-loved series.
