Curious about your own quizzing prowess and how it stacks up against a Chaser from ITVs hit show The Chase?

Short of actually competing on the show, gauging one's general knowledge is no mean feat. Yet, there's an entertaining way to measure your knowledge against a quiz crafted by Darragh Ennis himself.

Known as The Menace, the Irish brainiac climbed aboard as a Chaser in 2020, following his memorable stint as a contestant three years prior.

Now a TikTok sensation, Darragh routinely serves up his expansive trivia expertise mixed with challenge to his legion of followers. Recently, he threw down the gauntlet with a fiendishly difficult food and drink themed quiz, goading his audience with the claim that getting a perfect score might just be impossible.

Darragh proclaimed: "Can you beat a quiz by The Menace? This time it's on food and drink and I bet you can't get all five."

Below you'll find the questions, as asked by Darragh on his social media account:

Food and drink quiz questions

"Question one, what fruit is the main flavour of the liqueur crème de cassis? Question two, the spice saffron is made from the stamens of what flowers? Question three, what is the name of a pork pie that has some chicken added to the filling and a whole boiled egg in the centre? Question four, what type of rice is most commonly used in a traditional Risotto? And question five, which vegetable has varieties including Warrior, Viking, Albion and Archer?"

Do you know the answers? Take your time and then check your answers below.
