When she meets bad-boy Nick, the son of her mother's new partner, she soon realises she cannot escape the chemistry between them. Noah's devastating path threatens to ruin her new found life and first love in the capital.
9. Den of Thieves
Produced by and starring Gerald Butler, Den of Theives is a gritty crime film that follows the lives of the top dogs at LA County Sheriff's Department and the state's most prolific robbers as they attempt to plan a heist on the Federal Reserve Bank.
8. Longlegs
Released last year, Longlegs follows the murders of multiple families over a 30-year period. It is a cult focused horror with Nicholas Cage playing a satanist and elusive serial killer who manipulates others into committing the murders.
7. A Simple Favour
The first part of a franchise, starring Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick, and based on a book from 2017, this 2018 suburban noir comedy follows the story of a single mother whose best friend asks her to pick up her son from school, and then mysteriously disappears.
6. Den of Thieves 2: Pantera
Released earlier this year, this film is the second installment in the Den of Thieves franchise. This time Butler is back on the hunt in Europe and closing in on Donnie, (O'Shea Jackson Jr) who is involved with the infamous Panther mafia, as they plot a huge heist of the world's largest diamond exchange.
5. Conclave
Conclave was released last year and received many awards, including the BAFTA for Best Film. The film depicts what goes on in the Conclave when electing the next Pope. The film was a huge hit last year, starring Ralph Fiennes, Stanley Tucci and John Lithgow, but is very topical and likely in the top ten right now following the death of Pope Francis last month.
4. The Accountant
Another movie starring Anna Kendrick, alongside Ben Afflek, and J.K. Simmons, The Accountant is about a certified public accountant with autism who works for several companies illegally manipulating their financial records. Following its 2016 release, the second installment, The Accountant 2 is out in cinemas right now.
3. Ash
Ash is a recent release, starring Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul and Eiza González. The film follows a woman after she wakes up on a far away planet and finds her space station crew violently killed. She begins investigating what happens but sets off a terrifying chain of events.
2. G20
Another recent release, G20 is an action, thriller movie starring Viola Davis. The film follows a terrorist attack at the G20 Summit and how President Danielle Sutton uses her skills in military and governing to defend her fellow leaders and family.
1. Another Simple Favour
The sequel to A Simple Favour, starring Lively and Kendrick, makes the top spot on Amazon Prime right now after a slightly controversial press tour. This time, Stephanie Smothers travels to Italy to be the maid of honour for the sly and coniving Emily Nelson. She soon realises that Emily's good will is all a facade and revenge ensues.
