Alia Bhatt Reveals Ranbir 'Learned' Malayalam Lullaby To Help Raha Sleep, Calls Father-Daughter Bond 'One For The Ages'

Alia Bhatt never fails to delight fans with cute anecdotes about her little one, Raha, and this time is no different. The actress recently graced her appearance at The Great Indian Kapil Show alongside Karan Johar, Vedang Raina and Vasan Bala. During the episode, she talked about the special relationship her husband, Ranbir Kapoor, shares with their daughter.

Ranbir sings lullaby to daughter RahaAlia explained that Ranbir invents creative games that not only entertain Raha but also educate her. She said, "Raha and Ranbir’s relationship is one for the ages. There’s a friendship between them.. He invents random games with Raha. He will be like, ‘Do you want to go and touch the clothes in the cupboard’. And Raha will say ‘yes’. Then, they will go and have a sensory play with the clothes and shirts. He will tell her ‘this is velvet, this is suede, this is cotton’. And he will make that into a very serious thing”. The Darlings actor further added, "He even sings Unni Vava Vo. It is a lullaby. Our nurse has been singing it to Raha since day one. So, when Raha wants to sleep, she says, ‘Mama Vavo, Papa Vavo’. That is her cue to go to sleep. Now, Ranbir has learnt how to sing the Malayalam song for her."For the unversed, the couple began dating while filming the hit movie Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva, tied the knot of love and togetherness in April 2022 and welcomed Raha in November of the same year. They maintained a no-photo policy for their daughter until she turned one, prioritising her privacy in the public eye.
