Bihar Public Service Commission, BPSC has postponed the 70th Combined Competituve Examination, BPSC 70th CCE. The exam, earlier scheduled to be conducted in November, has been postponed to December. Over 8 Lakh candidates are expected to appear in the BPSC recruitment examination. The exam will be conducted at various centres across state. BPSC has asked district officials to submit details like availibility of basic ammenities. The exam centres will be decided on the basis of this information.Local media reports claim that only one candidate will sit on one bench to prevent cheating. BPSC has also changed the marking scheme this time. Reports citing BPSC Chairman Parmar Ravi Manubhai state that as per the new marking scheme, for every three incorrect answers, one mark will be deducted from a correct answer, a shift from the previous rule of four wrong answers.
BPSC 70th Registration Underway, How to Apply BPSC 70th notification was released last month and registration started on September 28, 2024. Eligible candidates can get themselves registered till October 18. Any application submitted post deadline will not be considered by the Commission.
